CURRENT INITIATIVE
OBSTETRIC HEMORRHAGE
Obstetric Hemorrhage is one of the leading causes of preventable maternal mortality. Our goal is to improve early recognition and intervention to improve patient outcomes.
CURRENT INITIATIVE
NEONATAL HYPOTHERMIA PREVENTION
Hypothermia is a contributing factor to neonatal mortality and morbidity and is associated with a higher risk of infants developing hypoglycemia, jaundice, respiratory distress syndrome, sepsis, and suffering from intraventricular hemorrhage. Our goal is to promote standardized protocols and checklists, availability of equipment and supplies, timely debreifs, and education on best practices for hypothermia prevention.
SUSTAINABILITY PHASE:
MATERNAL HYPERTENTION INTIATIVE
Establish protocols, processes, and education to ensure women with hypertension/preeclampsia are identified quickly and managed well to avoid further complications.
SUSTAINABILITY PHASE:
Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome
Reduce variation in treatment and optimize the care of infants with NOWS through compassionate withdrawal treatment.
PAST INITIATIVE:
